Questions about SecuriKey Lite

1. I have activated SecuriKey Lite. Now the Windows logon screen has changed. I'm prompted for username and password. What do I have to enter in these fields?
2. After the installation of SecuriKey I'm prompted for a password everytime I start my computer or I plug in the CmStick. Which password do I have to enter?
3. SecuriKey asks for my CmStick Password, but I have forgotten it. What can I do?
4. After logging in the error message "Network initialization failed: CodeMeter Runtime Server is terminated!" appears every time. What can I do?

1. I have activated SecuriKey Lite. Now the Windows logon screen has changed. I'm prompted for username and password. What do I have to enter in these fields? [to the top]

   If you did not need any password to logon to Windows before you installed SecuriKey, you can leave the password field empty. Just press "OK".

2. After the installation of SecuriKey I'm prompted for a password everytime I start my computer or I plug in the CmStick. Which password do I have to enter? [to the top]

   SecuriKey has detected that you connected a disabled CmStick. Please enter you CmStick Password.

3. SecuriKey asks for my CmStick Password, but I have forgotten it. What can I do? [to the top]

   You can only logon if you have a working CmStick password for the CmStick you are using with SecuriKey Lite. You can reset the CmStick Password with the CmStick Master-Password.

4. After logging in the error message "Network initialization failed: CodeMeter Runtime Server is terminated!" appears every time. What can I do? [to the top]

   This occurs because SecuriKey starts CodeMeter Runtime Server in a special mode. Therefore the CodeMeter Runtime Server is already running when Windows tries to start the CodeMeter Runtime Server as service.

   To get rid of this message, please remove the CodeMeter Runtime Server service by starting Start - All Programs - CodeMeter - Terminate CodeMeter Runtime Server.

   When you deactivated SecuriKey, you should start CodeMeter Runtime Server again as service by starting Start - All Programs - CodeMeter - CodeMeter Runtime Server (start as service).
